AceTrader Teams Up With Myriad for $30K Prediction Contest

Prediction market Myriad has teamed up with AceTrader to enable users to predict on the AceTrader 100 competition, with a $30,000 prize fund up for grabs.

The AceTrader 100 sees celebrity crypto traders—among them Myriad President and co-founder Farokh Sarmad—competing for the top spot, with a $1 million USDC trade fund on the line.

Users of Myriad, a prediction market owned by Decrypt’s parent company Dastan, can trade on a variety of markets relating to the AceTrader 100 competition, from which of two traders will rake in the most profit in the showdown stage, to whether the “Public 80” will win out against the “Elite 20” traders in the Grand Final.

With a prize pool of $30,000 in Trade Funds, there’s a $20,000 Trade Fund up for grabs for the top trader on the Myriad leaderboard, a $10,000 Trade Fund for second place, and a 1 Year Standard Plan for the third-ranked trader.

Runners-up in the top 100 will receive a free month’s promo code for AceTrader’s Standard Plan, while 200,000 Myriad Points are also up for grabs for the top traders on the leaderboard.

Prediction markets add “a layer of accountability and engagement,” they explained, adding that Myriad enables users to “back their favorite traders and KOLs with real conviction while watching the $1,000,000 fund quest unfold in real-time.”

Crypto proprietary trading firm AceTrader enables traders to “access institutional-grade capital without needing personal investment.” After completing a structured evaluation challenge in a “realistic, risk-free simulated environment,” traders can qualify to manage AceTrader’s funds in live crypto markets, with the firm absorbing the trading risk in exchange for a cut of the profits. The firm promises “generous profit-sharing terms and performance scaling opportunities” for both beginners and seasoned traders.
